Cross-border collaboration delivers string of acquisition successes
We are proud to report that PKF International member firms in the UK, Ireland, Germany and the US have worked together to support Team17 Group plc on several recent acquisitions.
Team17 is a global games entertainment label, headquartered in West Yorkshire and listed on the London Stock Exchange. Corporate finance teams at PKF Francis Clark, PKF O’Connor Leddy Holmes, PKF Fasselt and PKF O’Connor Davies have supported the group’s expansion, advising on a number of high-profile deals.
Most recently, a PKF team led by PKF Francis Clark’s Sam Phillips and PKF O’Connor Leddy Holmes’s David Lucas has provided a full suite of buyside advisory services (including financial due diligence and deal negotiation advice) on the acquisition of Astragon Entertainment, a leading German-based games developer. This transaction, worth €100m, also involved advice from Martin Franke’s team at PKF Fasselt in Cologne.
In addition to the Astragon deal, member firms provided transaction services advice to Team17 on the acquisitions of San Francisco-based games publisher The Label earlier in 2022 and of Dublin-based app developer StoryToys in July 2021.
